I have worked with kids since I was 14 from kids clubs to babysitting. I’ve always been the older cousin minding all the younger ones and I have a big family so there’s a few over the years! When I was 17 I worked in the Diamond Coasts kids club ‘Little Diamonds’ and I worked there for a full summer. They have my name and number at the hotel reception so I’m called whenever a guest needs a child-minder for the evening/night. I have always loved working with children because I’ve found it’s something that’s come quite naturally to me. I think it’s important to make the child feel safe and make sure to keep them safe at all times. I’m very sporty and love outdoors so even if you just need the kids out of the house for an hour I’d be happy to bring them on a walk. I’m also very musical and arty so I love painting and making up songs with the kids :))
