Yes, I have completed First Aid training in the past, approximately five years ago. While it is not currently up to date, I am very familiar with basic first aid principles and safety awareness through my experience working with children in teaching and camp environments, where safety was always a priority. I am also very responsible and attentive when caring for children and would always act quickly and appropriately in any situation.
I have experience supporting children with a range of learning needs through my teaching career and children’s summer camps. In these roles, I worked with diverse groups of children and adapted activities and my approach to ensure inclusion, participation, and support for individual needs.
I do have experience with babies up to 2 years old. I regularly care for my nephew Gio, who is almost 2, and I am very comfortable looking after babies and toddlers. I also have experience babysitting younger children alongside my wider experience working with children through teaching and children’s camps. I am patient, attentive, and confident with routines such as feeding, playtime, settling, and ensuring a safe and calm environment.
