I have experience child minding children in peoples homes, with children ranging from newborn to teens. I have previously worked with children in a residential unit also.
About Me
Hi, my name is Amy and I am 25yrs old. I am a qualified social care worker. I have worked in the disability sector for the past 6 years, and have experience working with both adults and children in residential settings, respite and day services. I have my full, clean drivers license, advanced first aid, children’s first, basic Lamh, anaphylaxis training, experience with epilepsy, and much more. I would love to help our parents with occasional babysitting in my spare time. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.

My Experience
First Aid Experience
I am fully qualified in FAR (first aid response), which I renew every 2 years. I have all certificates for this.
Special Needs Experience
I have worked within children’s respite and residential services for children with additional needs. I have experience with children with additional needs from the ages of 7-18yrs old. I have also supported young adults with additional needs. I have worked with children with mild to severe levels of disability, as well as children who use Lamh (sign language), and those who are non-verbal. I also have a lot of experience with challenging behaviors.
