Hi, I’m Aoife, a 25-year-old student based in Galway City, currently studying for my Childcare Level 5 qualification. I’m looking for a nannying, child-minding or babysitting job. I would also be interested in a cleaning/housekeeping job or pet sitting. I have 3+ years of experience working with children of all ages, from babies and toddlers to school-aged children and teenagers. I’ve worked in creches, afterschools, schools, and as a bus escort. I’m passionate about working with children, particularly those with disabilities, and I have developed strong skills in supporting their individual needs. Although I have very limited babysitting experience, I have excellent references from previous childcare roles and up-to-date Garda vetting from May this year. I’m currently available Monday to Friday and, while I don’t have a driving license, I am committed to providing fun, nurturing, and safe care for your children, and I am comfortable with animals. I also have up-to-date manual handling and first aid. Although working with children is my passion, I have a close second, my huge love for animals, growing up on a farm meant I was always surrounded by animals. We always had many pets while growing up, from cats, dogs and rabbits to fish and turtles. It's safe to say I am used to them and everything that comes with them. I am a well-rounded, open-minded person who loves the outdoors. I also love to create; such as drawing, painting, crafting etc. I love to bake, just about as much as I love to eat what I bake! I am a clean, organised person and always like to keep things that way. I love to have fun and mess about, I think that may be why I get on with the kids so well.
