Hi , I'm a Mum of two girls now 24 and 21 , I have worked in hospitality, Managing restaurants for 30 years but the last 3 years I have been child minding, with a few gaps in between were I went back to hospitality or retail now I'm keen on childminding only ! I'm currently looking to start with a family asap Mondays to Friday, would like to stay a few years with a family , I find the childminding very rewarding and as long as everyone's happy and I'm making a realitc living ,I'm happy not to go back to hospitality, I'm from Dalkey but live the last 17 years at wicklow . I have my own car , full drivers licence, I am garda vetted ,I have also had foreign students that I've cared for at my home through an agency and I have references. I'm a keen cook, love walking, arts &craft History , I'm easy going with a good sense of humour, calm , read people well easy going , caring,motivated and enthusiastic. I'm happy to mind any age group . Having two grown up girls myself has given me a wealth of knowledge about childern , I have minded twin boys from age 1 to 3 they were such a pleasure to be around, I loved been part of the mile stones and helping them learn to suit their age group and I adapt learning and the routine around the child's needs and personality to encourage them to feel happy ,confident and safe . I've minded 3 children ages 8 , 11 and 13 , All with different needs and personality’s, I've minded 2 boys aged 5 and ;8 . And brothers aged 1 & 3 ! I don't mind travelling further eg 30 minutes from wicklow , I am currently available on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays all year round ! Within my time child minding I have done school collections, after school activities, homework ,washing ,cooking cleaning up art and crafts ,reading, parks ,beaches, swimming , over nights and just adapting to the familys needs , It's especially important that the parents and I have open communication respect for each other and get on well .
