About Me
Hi there! I'm Michelle. I am currently studying for a Masters qualification from the University of Limerick. I have a bachelor's degree from UCC in Early year and Childhood studies. Since completing my undergrad I have worked for several years in the childcare industry. I have over ten years of casual babysitting experience. I have worked in Canada as a live-in Au Pair where I looked after two children and carried out housekeeping duties. I have also worked as a childcare practitioner in a childcare facility where I worked mainly with children aged 18 months to two years. I also worked with preschool ages children and younger babies here. In the past two years, I made a career change and became a special needs assistant where I worked with older children with various educational needs. I am enthusiastic, easygoing, and a hard and dependable worker.

My Experience
First Aid Experience
I have a valid First aid and CPR certification. I have also completed paediatric first aid course in the past.
Special Needs Experience
I worked for two years as an SNA in secondary schools, I have also volunteered in co action summer camps and have completed a placement in a pre-school for children with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have worked as an Au pau where I looked after a two-year-old child. I have also worked as a childcare practitioner where I was the room leader in the toddler room. These children were aged between 18 months and 2 years. I also worked in the baby room with children ages 6 months to a year and in the wobbler room where children were aged one year to 18 months.
