My sister who suffered from supraventricular tachycardia, and a little 3 year old who was born with Neuroendocrine cell hyperplasia of infancy (NEHI)- I was responsible for making sure his oxygen stats did not fall under a certain line. His breathing had to be monitored closely as well. Oxygen was on the child 100% of the time. Both children required close monitoring for unusual behavior.
While my mother and father worked, I was in charge of the household ( child under 2, child 5 and child 11) My sister (under 2) was also having some heart problems, I was responsible for making sure medicine and treatments were given at the right times. Cooking, cleaning, bath times, and education/physical activity was also a big part of our days.
