Live in au pair/childminder required for summer months

**Summer Au Pair Needed – Claregalway, Co. Galway** We are a warm and busy family of 5 (mum, dad, and three girls aged 10, 8, and 5) looking for a kind, reliable au pair to join us this summer. **Dates:** Mid-June to mid-August **What we offer:** * Private double bedroom with your own bathroom * Full room and board (all meals included, no bills) * WiFi, Netflix, Prime & Disney+ * Car available if you have a valid driving licence * Evenings and weekends free **The role:** We are looking for someone to care for and keep our girls engaged during the day while we work—ideally someone who enjoys being active, creative, and keeping kids off screens. Duties include: * Playing with and supervising the children * Organising simple activities at home or outdoors * Preparing meals/snacks for the children * Light household tasks (keeping shared areas as you find them) * Supporting the children with their own chores (e.g. dishwasher, laundry) **Hours:** Typically Monday to Thursday approx. 7:30am – 5:30pm. Fridays are lighter (usually finishing around 1:30pm), but can be flexible depending on the week—this could mean a later start (around 9am) or even a full day off by agreement. Some flexibility is needed as work schedules can vary from time to time. Babysitting may be requested occasionally and would either be paid extra or time given back during the week. **About you:** We are looking for someone who is friendly, responsible, and happy to get involved in family life. Experience with children is important. Driving is helpful but not essential as there is a regular bus service to Galway city. We also have pets, so you would need to be comfortable around animals.
