I obtain a certificate in FAR Training both adult and paediatric. Recently completed in 2022.
About Me
I currently hold my QQI Level 5 in Early Years Education (special needs). I am in the process of completing my QQI level 6.
-First aid certificate.
-Garda vetted as I currently work in childcare full time.
-Child’s First training.
-Autism awareness training.
I am currently deputy manager in a busy community Creche in the toddler room. I am in this job 3 years.
I have completed work experience in an ASD unit and also volunteered in the Rainbow Club , Cork.
I love working with children because I enjoy seeing children grow and I really enjoy caring for children. I personally love art/craft and all sort of play such as sensory play , outdoor play, imaginative play and so on.
I consider myself a outgoing person and I am always willing to learn. I enjoy caring 1:1 for children and also as a group. I enjoy being active ie walking, going to the gym.
I love a challenge and I always give each job my full potential and attention.
My Experience
Special Needs Experience
I have experience in childminding a young boy who is non verbal and has an intellectual disability. I volunteered in the rainbow club cork whereby I was caring for children with autism.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have experience in working with babies as I currently work in a Creche and I would be required to cover a shift in the baby room.
