About Me
Hello, my name is Stefanie and I have 23 years old. I have a bachelors degree in pedagogy that is like a early years childhood education in Brazil. I also have a bachelors degree in languages and literacy. My certificates have been recognized by DCYA. I have been working with children since 2017 and in Brazil I used to be a teacher. Here I have experience since July of 2019 working in a crèche.
I love working with children, teaching them and seeing them grow, I feel that I’m part of something important helping them to be the best person they can be when they grow. Since I believe that the 5 first years of someone’s life are very important.
I love to travel, read books and watch all the movies I can in Netflix.
My Experience
First Aid Experience
I have done first aid first in Brazil and after I arrived here the crèche that I work provided it for me. We learned about how to act if a child is chocking, how to do heart massage, how to use desbrillator, and others.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
After I finished school I started working as a teaching assistant at kindergarten and primary school level. I was responsible for their basic needs, giving help and support to the teachers. Creating and applying my own activities, and once a week I had to give classes on the place of the teacher. Last year I moved to Ireland and since July I have been working as an Early Year Educator in a creche. My position is as a class leader and I am responsible for preparing and executing activities. I am required to do the yearly, monthly and weekly planning. As well as this, I register the children development, their scrapbooks and take care of their basic needs as they are still toddlers.
