I am currently studying pre-nursing and have had some first aid experience during my time in scouts growing up.
About Me
Hi! My name is Saoirse and I am 18 years old. I'm currently studying pre-nursing with hopes to further my studies next year. I enjoy working with kids because not everyday with them is the same! I love their honesty and their endless amount of energy, not forgetting their positivity. Working with children has to be one of the most rewarding experiences. I think about the progress they have made, how I can help them and their families further and I hope when they leave my presence they are happier and empowered!
My Experience
Special Needs Experience
During the summers of 2017 and 2018 I worked with Down Syndrome Dublin in assisting them with their summer camps. Some of my responsibilities included taking part in activities with the children and young adults, overseeing meal times, guiding them to anywhere they needed to go and adhering to any needs they may have had while under my care.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have babysat my 4 cousins since they were newborn,they are now 8,7,5 and 3. I still mind them now on occasion so school runs,nappy changes and meal times are no problem.
