About Me
In 2018 I finished my master’s in preschool and primary education at university of Aveiro, Portugal. I have 7 years of experience taking care of kids, not only as a teacher, childcare assistant, babysitter but also as an Au pair. I love working with kids, because at the end of the day I feel fulfilled. Kids are smart and super funny and it’s great to see them developing skills with my help/supervision.
I’m currently working at a crèche located in kinsaley and I live in Clongriffin. I’m in charge of the preschool room, but I’ve experience working in the toddler room and playgroup room.

My Experience
Special Needs Experience
I've delt with kids with special needs throughout the last years, specially autism. One child attended my classroom and in the beginning of the year he couldn't speak and after 5 months he started talking and now his speech is very fluent ad he's very sociable and has friends and before he also struggled with it. Another child in my room, started the year with a lot of struggles, totally unable to concentrate, to speak or even recognize is name or look at us when we talked to him, now he's even going to the toilet, singing the ABC, sits down and does puzzles, plays with cars... Special needs are hard to deal but i can say it's so rewarding to see how much a child developed with the help and patience we gave her/him.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
My internship was in a preschool where I was responsible for planning classes and also feed and play with a group of 20 kids with ages from 3-5years old. Currently I’m working on a crèche, I’ve been in charge of the 2 years old classroom (toddlers) and the 3 years old room (playgroup). Now I work in the preschool room, 3-4 years old.
