About Me

Dependable and dedicated babysitter with eight years of experience in babysitting and six years experience of teaching and coaching sport and mentoring children aged from 4-16 years old. Adaptable and enthusiastic with extensive knowledge of child psychology and fundamental movement and motor skills development. Experienced in teaching and caring for children with additional needs and SEN requirements. Devoted to helping children think creatively, solve problems independently and respect themselves and others. Currently working as irish women’s rugby player, so I would be able to work around your schedule and my schedule, which can all be discussed as I have flexibility. Before receiving a rugby contract, I was a full time teacher in primary school in England teaching sports, fine motor skills and mentoring for children aged 4 to 12 years old. I have an array of experience such as teaching in The Gambia, secondary school teacher, mentor, tutor, live out nanny for a 6 month old for a year, alongside studying. Words can’t describe how passionate I am about working with children, I thoroughly enjoy watching them learn, grow and become there own little persons and characters. Without being arrogant, I have been seen as a role model to many of the pupils I have taught and the children I have babysat which means the upmost to me, I try to inspire children to fulfil there dreams, live life to the fullest and most importantly have fun. With an extensive background in teaching and babysitting for children of all ages- coupled with my degree in Physical Education and Youth work, A-level in psychology with modules in child psychology and early education. Accompanied with my enthusiastic, loving and caring personality, I am confident that I can provide excellent childcare to your family. Special Needs Experience

Working with children in a primary school and secondary school with SEN. Organised and led projects for SEN sports whilst at university for children with a range of complex needs. Cared for a child with dyspraxia and dyslexia.

Experience with Children Under 2 Years

Live out nanny for a 6 month old whilst studying: worked with a mother who was going back to work so I would care for the baby from 7am- 5pm most weekdays and when I was studying I would care for the baby on evenings from 5/6pm until 12pm.
