About Me
Hi! My name is Nicola I am a 19 year old art student. I have 4 younger siblings. Varying from ages 3-12 whom I babysit regularly. I am a kind and patient child-minder. I am able to enforce rules in a calm, understandable manner. I enjoy minding kids , it brings me joy and they always enjoy time with me. Getting to know the children I babysit is very important to me.
My Experience
Special Needs Experience
Yes I done work experience in St. John of gods special needs school in Celbridge where I learned a lot on how to look after and care for people with special needs. My younger sister, 8, received an autism diagnosis when she was 2 and I have been caring for her ever since.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have taken care of many babies. Babies of course require different routines than babysitting an older child. I have been looking after my siblings since they were babies whilst my parents worked. I also have looked after babies in the family and have babysat other babies from families. Each experience I find great! I adore babies.
