About Me
Hello, great to e-meet you!
My name is Amy. Two years ago, I graduated with a 1.1 Hons. degree in Economics & Finance, following which I lived and worked in the US.
I have years of experience working with children, from newborns to teenagers, including those with special needs. I'm a qualified children's GAA referee, GAA/tennis/hockey coach and have given grinds in Spanish, Irish& Maths, after achieving H1s in my Leaving Certificate. I babysit on a regular basis, both during the day and night. During this time, I am happy to help children with homework/projects, take care of animals, prepare meals and help around the house.
I love working with children because I find them challenging, enthusiastic and unique. I see the world differently from their eyes, in a less complicated light. Therefore, I feel like I learn from them perhaps more than them, from me!
I have a full & clean Driver's licence. I have a deep passion for and am heavily involved in all types of sport. I have completed my R.I.A.M. piano exams and I love to read and act.

My Experience
Special Needs Experience
Last summer, I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at the Special Olympics. My cousin has severe autism. Outside his immediate family, I am the only person he is happy to be left with.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
Last summer, I looked after nine-month old twins on a daily basis, one of whom had special physical needs. I regularly mind babies, in particular at the moment, a newborn. I'm very confident and comfortable with all ages.
