Hello, I am Paula Carolina. I am Brazilian and I have been here in Ireland since December. I am graduated In Linguistics (habilitation to be Portuguese and English teacher) with focus on language development, literature, and language acquisition. I am also a researcher at University with a project studying how children with Down's Syndrome and Dyslexia acquire language. In this project, I have contact with many children, with Syndrome and without Syndrome. My role in this project is to make tests with the children such as writing, pronunciation, reading, and listening. All the tests are made in a fun way, but also with scientific research behind it. I have been working in this research since 2017. In m final paper, I studied about childhood literacy and how kids acquire language and how this happens during all child lifetime. I also have experience teaching Portuguese and English for kids of different ages. Another experience is a volunteer teaching program in my church. As a volunteer, I had to teach Bible lessons for kids, sing, play, make activities related to Bible and presentations such as dancing, theatre, and singing. I love kids and I love work with kids. I always had a good relationship with them. I am flexible, I like to play and to teach, I love to sing with kids and I am very creative to make a lot of different activities.
