Dear parents, My name is Lívia and I'm 29 years old. I am from Brazil, but since last year I have been living In Ireland And since last Octuber i am living in Cork. In Brazil, I finished my degree in psychology five years ago, and after that I worked in hospital and private clinics. At the hospital, I used to work with adults most of the time, but sometimes myself and the other residents attended public schools to talk with children and teenagers about health issues in creative way, through games or dynamics. In private clinic I started to work more with children, especially children with Down Syndrome or Autism. At the same time I was finishing my Art Therapy course and it was very helpful in this work because you really need to be creative to work with children. It was very common for us to make drawings, paintings and sculptures using recyclable materials. In addition to that, I have three brothers much more younger than me and I use to spend time with them as well. We use to have a lot of fun doing experiments with art. I really enjoy using creativity in my work and personal life and am very enthusiastic about the power of art to help people (of any age) in their processes of learning and developing emotional intelligence.
