Noreen P.

Hi, My name is Noreen and I live in East Cork. I spent many years working in office administration and accounts but now want to do something different. I took a career break to become a full time carer to my elderly parents and discovered that I enjoy working in a caring role as I find it more fulfilling and rewarding than office work. I am currently undertaking the Healthcare Assistants course at night where I am learning many practical and transferable skills that could be applied in a childcare setting. I have always enjoyed the company of lively, enthusiastic children and I especially love inquiring young minds. I strongly believe that every child deserves to be cared for and supported in a loving nurturing environment which encourages them to explore and engage safely with the world around them in order that they may gain the self belief and confidence required to reach their full potential. I come from a large family and have a great deal of experience in helping to care for my nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
