At the moment I don’t but I would like to go to college hopefully this year to Pursue my dreams of working with children.
About Me
My name is Saoirse, I am an 19 year old bubbly and enthusiastic girl. I completed the last of my school years last year and I took this year out to work and maybe travel. I have plenty of experience with children as I have two younger brothers and lots of younger cousins and family friends children on which I would babysit quite a lot. I absolutely love being around children and would like to study early childcare and education in college hopefully in September 2020. I love working and being around children as I feel they can teach you a lot by the way they communicate and I love taking them out to explore and try new things.
My Experience
First Aid Experience
I took part in first aid courses the last few years to keep on top of having my first aid skills. They still cover me up until next year. I am trained to give cpr, heart compressions on infants, younger kids adults and the elderly. I also know how to use an aed.
Special Needs Experience
I worked with two young girls who had autism and took them out to the park and brought them for hot chocolates and I really connected with them. I also have 5 younger cousins with autism that I mind frequently.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have my brother which I’ve been minding and babysitting since he was a new born. He is now five years old. I also have younger cousins which I babysit since they wore also new borns.
