Hi! My name is Egija, and I recently moved to Dublin from Seattle, USA. I have several years of childcare experience, both as an au pair and a nanny, caring for children from 1 to 13 years old. I have worked with different families in Seattle and the surrounding area, including live-in positions, family trips, and overnight stays. I have a background in music education and choral conducting, and I love bringing music, creativity, and fun into children’s everyday lives. I enjoy helping children learn new things, explore their interests, and develop their independence while making sure they feel safe and supported. I am also organised, responsible, and happy to help with everyday household tasks related to the children. I speak Latvian and English. Having lived and worked in different cultural environments, I am comfortable adapting to each family’s needs and routines. I am looking forward to finding a lovely family in Dublin where I can build a trusting relationship with both the parents and the children. I would love to be someone the family can rely on and a positive part of the children’s everyday lives!
