I have a vocational qualification in Early Childhood Education, as well as a certificate in leisure-time activities and childcare. I’m also currently studying for a university degree in Early Childhood Education online, which gives me the flexibility to combine my studies with working and gaining more experience.
I also completed a First Aid course in Spain, which has given me additional knowledge and skills to help keep children safe and respond appropriately in an emergency. I believe that children’s safety and well-being are always a priority, and I’m happy to keep learning and developing my skills in childcare.
I also have experience working with children aged 3 to 6 with special needs. This has taught me the importance of being patient, understanding, and flexible, while adapting activities and routines to each child’s individual needs and abilities. I always aim to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and able to develop at their own pace.
I have experience caring for children aged from 6 months to 12 years old, which has helped me understand the different needs and stages of development at each age. With babies, I’m comfortable helping with feeding, naps, nappy changes, and creating a safe and loving environment. With toddlers and younger children, I enjoy organising fun and educational activities, supporting their development, and helping them with their daily routines. I also have experience with older children, helping with homework, planning activities, encouraging their independence, and making sure they feel supported and happy. I always try to adapt to each child’s personality and needs, building a trusting relationship with them while making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable around me.
