About Me

Hi, I’m Anika, an MSc student at TU Dublin. I’ve looked after my young nephew for two years, and I’ve volunteered with children and elderly people through the Songkolpo Foundation at Bangladesh. I’m patient, gentle and calm, and I believe in clear, kind boundaries so children feel safe and know what to expect. I love keeping them happy with stories, songs and dancing, and I enjoy cooking, so I’m happy to help with snacks and mealtimes. I’m reliable, punctual and always put safety first. I’m available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends.

My Experience

First Aid Experience

I learned first aid through Girl Guides training, and I’ve used basic first aid at home while caring for my young nephew and my elderly aunt. I stay calm under pressure, put safety first, and I’m comfortable calling for help straight away when a situation needs it.

Experience with Children Under 2 Years

I looked after my nephew from when he was under two, every day while his mother was at work. I took care of his feeding, naps, playtime and comfort, followed her routines closely, and kept him safe throughout. I’m gentle, patient and calm, and I know how to settle a baby and spot when something is wrong.
