I’m a patient, caring and responsible person who genuinely loves spending time with children. One of my favourite things about being around kids is the way they make us forget about the adult world for a while and become children again; playing, laughing and enjoying the little things. When I first arrived in Ireland in 2022, I worked as a nanny, which gave me my first experience caring for children here. Shortly afterwards, I started working with an Irish family, where I spent three wonderful years as a health care assistant. During that time, I also built a very special friendship with my patient’s nephew. Every now and then, even after I change my job, he would come to my house so we could play, have fun and spend some time together! I also grew up helping to look after my nieces and nephews in Brazil, so caring for children has always been something natural and enjoyable for me. I love playing, being silly, creating little adventures and making children feel comfortable and happy. At the same time, I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust, so I always take my responsibilities seriously and make sure children are safe, cared for and listened to.
