Hi! My name is Valeria, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Spain. I’m a responsible, caring and reliable person, and I really enjoy spending time with children. I have around one year of experience looking after children between 4 and 10 years old. I have helped families with their children’s daily routines, prepared snacks and simple meals, helped with homework, organised games and activities, and taken the children to the park or school when needed. I always try to make children feel comfortable, safe and happy while having fun with them. I would love to become an au pair in Ireland because I see it as a great opportunity to experience a new culture, meet new people and, especially, improve my English through everyday life. I’m excited about the idea of becoming part of a family, learning from each other and sharing my own Spanish culture with them too. I would describe myself as patient, attentive, organised and adaptable. I’m happy to follow the family’s routines and instructions, and I understand that being an au pair is also about being responsible and trustworthy.
