Hello, my name is Catalina. I am a caring, patient and reliable person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I have a son of my own, who is now an adult, and being a mother has taught me a great deal about patience, responsibility and understanding children as they grow. I have four years’ experience working as a childminder for a family with two or three children. I really enjoyed being part of their everyday routine, helping with school collections, homework, meals, playtime and outdoor activities. Every child was different, and I loved getting to know their personality, interests and individual needs. What I enjoy most about working with children is their energy, curiosity and honesty. They have a wonderful way of looking at the world, and I enjoy listening to their stories, answering their questions and encouraging them to explore and learn. I believe children need to feel safe, respected and comfortable, while also having the freedom to play, be creative and have fun. For the past ten years, I have mainly worked in office-based roles, including employment support and community programmes. These roles have strengthened my organisation, communication and time-management skills, while my childminding experience gave me a strong understanding of caring for children and supporting their daily routines. Outside work, I love being outdoors and spending time in nature. I enjoy exercising, keeping active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and I would be very happy to include age-appropriate outdoor activities as part of a child's day. I am a non-smoker and have a full clean driving licence. I would love the opportunity to support another family and provide a warm, friendly and caring environment where children feel happy, secure and valued.
