Hi, I'm Tiquila! I'm a warm, patient and experienced childcare professional with 3+ years experience supporting children in homes, schools, and childcare settings in New Zealand. I have experience supporting children with a range of individual needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and learning difficulties. I am nurturing and adaptable, with a strong ability to build positive relationships with children and parents. I encourage learning through play such as games, sensory regulation, arts & crafts, and also just hanging out with your little one and following their interests. I have experience in managing daily routines, supporting children through transitions, maintaining a clean, organised household environment and creative, imaginative child led play. I focus on building strong relationships with children, so they feel supported and valued. I also have experience working with animals, therefore I'm very comfortable with any household pets. I have a full license and my own transport, which gives me the flexibility to meet the needs of the right family.
