About Me
My name is Ioanna, and I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator and STEM/Robotics Instructor relocating to Ireland. I hold a University Degree in Early Childhood Education and have over 5 years of hands-on experience working with children aged 4–12 in schools, kindergartens, and creative educational centers.
My background also includes working as a Special Needs Assistant (SEN) and coaching children in creative STEM projects. I am deeply committed to providing a safe, warm, and engaging environment where children feel supported, happy, and encouraged to explore through creative and educational play.
I have First Aid training and knowledge through the Hellenic Red Cross and take children's safety and well-being very seriously. I would love the opportunity to support your family and help your children learn, grow, and have fun.
My Experience
First Aid Experience
I have received First Aid training and acquired practical skills through my involvement with the Hellenic Red Cross. I understand the importance of child safety and can respond calmly and responsibly to basic first aid needs.
Special Needs Experience
I have worked as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assistant / Shadow Teacher in an inclusive classroom setting. I have experience implementing individualized support and behavioral strategies to help children feel confident, engaged and socially integrated.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have experience providing home-based childcare and creative play for young children, ranging from 3 months old up to 5 years old. I am comfortable with infant care routines (feeding, naps, hygiene) as well as designing age-appropriate, engaging activities that support their early growth and development in a safe, warm environment.
