My name is Laura and I am 18 years old, (this year I'll be 19). I live in Seville, a city in the south of Spain. I live with my family, my mother's name is Adoración and she works as a lawyer, and my father's name is Manuel and he works as a history teacher. I have also a sister, and she is 12 years old.
I love my country, its beaches and the summer. But I would like to have an au pair experience this summer. I am studying a double degree (Math and Statistics) at the University of Seville. This school year has helped me to really realize what I want to do in the future. So, next year I will start my studies in Law, Finance and Accounting.
This is the reason why I could only work during the summer months. I could start from May 20, and be with you 3 months at most.
I have got a certificate in English, and I am studying to get the B2 (a superior certificate) as soon as possible. I love English since I was a little girl and I give private lessons to improve the language from 5 years old. You could contact my teacher if you really want to know my level of English.
Also, I am learning to drive to get the driver’s license. So if I get any of this things I will let you know.
Even though I'm pretty young, I am a very responsible and mature girl. I love learning more and more to be better in the future. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to improve my English, meet your lifestyle, your habits and your country, which I greatly admire.
I have done 2 exchanges before. The last one was in Dublin, I was there for 6 weeks with an Irish family. And it was a great experience. That gave me the opportunity to meet many people from different places. These experiences has helped me to mature and grow as a person.
The family was composed of a girl with the same age as me and two small girls (6 and 9 years old), with whom I spent all day playing with them and taking care of them. I realized that I loved children and being with them.
I have worked like babysitting here in Spain. Also, I have got many little cousins, so, I am used to being with children. This is the reason why I would love to be an au pair.
Now, I will tell you some things about myself. I am responsible, patient and hardworking. I love children and I am a very happy girl.
I regular help my father with the cooking, we love it! Also I usually help with the housework.
I like spending time with my family, friends and my little cousins, listening to music and doing sport. In addiction, I love fashion, art and look for inspiration everywhere.
I am a very active person, so I could do many activities with your kids, I love skating, dancing, swimming, and doing activities all time.
