I am a passionate and compassionate paediatric nurse, I studied children and general nursing at UCD, with experience caring for children of all ages—from newborns to 18 years old. My nursing background includes working in paediatric cardiology, hospital wards, and A&E, giving me the skills and confidence to provide safe, high-quality care in a variety of situations. At the beginning of this year, I started nannying with Ask a Midwife, and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. I enjoy having the opportunity to support families in a more personal, home-based environment and build meaningful relationships with both children and parents. I have experience caring for children with a range of additional and learning needs, and I always strive to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to thrive. I would describe myself as bubbly, energetic, and sporty. I love encouraging children to spend time outdoors, explore through play, read books, and discover new things every day. I believe in making learning fun while helping children build confidence and independence. As the second oldest of five girls, caring for children has always been a big part of my life. My combination of professional paediatric nursing experience and personal family background allows me to provide warm, reliable, and attentive care that parents can trust.
