Hi, my name is Alannah, and I am a 21-year-old student primary school teacher based in Johnstown, Navan. Having recently completed my third year of a Primary School Teaching degree, I am looking for a summer childcare position with a family and am available for flexible daytime hours from mid-July onwards. Working with children is something I am truly passionate about. Through five different primary school placements, I have gained valuable experience working with children of various ages, personalities, abilities, and additional needs. Alongside my teaching placements, I have also regularly babysat for my younger cousin and other children, giving me practical experience caring for children in both educational and home environments. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and the ability to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can thrive. I am Garda vetted, hold a full clean driving licence, and have my own car, allowing me to assist with activities, outings, and day trips if required. I am also happy to help with meal preparation, educational activities, arts and crafts, music, reading, and keeping children active and entertained throughout the summer. As a future primary school teacher, I enjoy helping children learn through play and encouraging their confidence, independence, and creativity. I would describe myself as reliable, caring, responsible, and approachable, and I take great pride in building positive relationships with both children and parents. I would love the opportunity to support a family this summer and provide dependable, nurturing childcare tailored to your children's needs.
