During my work experience at Aura Dundalk, I received first aid training and gained valuable knowledge on how to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations. This experience helped me develop a strong understanding of safety and responsibility when working around children and members of the public. I have also applied for a lifeguard training course, as I am interested in further developing my first aid, safety, and emergency response skills.
I also have experience caring for children of a wide range of ages(6months to 12year old kids). For several years, I regularly spent time helping to look after a family with nine children, ranging from infants to older children. Through this experience, I developed patience, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to the different needs of children at various ages. Their mother often complimented me on how well I interacted with and cared for the children. While I am unable to provide a reference from the family, I do have photos and other evidence of my involvement and experience with the children if required.
