Hi, I’m Lucía. I really enjoy spending time with children and creating a calm, caring and fun environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I’m currently taking a career break from my work as a web designer to focus on personal projects, and I’d love to use some of this time to support a family with part-time or occasional childcare. I have experience caring for children both in Spain and here in Ireland. When I was younger, I was a full-time babysitter for a year in Spain, which gave me early experience with bottle-feeding, changing nappies, settling babies for naps, keeping them entertained, and following the family’s routine. In Ireland, I also worked as a nanny for a family with two children a few years ago for about a year. My responsibilities included school pick-ups, preparing lunch, helping with homework and spending time playing with them after school. I’m responsible, patient and caring, and I like to adapt to each child’s personality, routine and needs. I’m happy to help with simple meals, homework support, creative activities, outdoor play, bedtime routines or general minding, depending on what each family is looking for. At the moment, I’m looking for flexible part-time or occasional babysitting/nanny work. I’d be happy to chat and see if I could be a good fit for your family.
