Hi, my name is María, a 22 year old Spanish Psychology student who is a responsible, caring and energetic person with a genuine passion for working with children. With a diploma as a Leisure and Recreation Instructor and 3 months of experience at Camping Los Batanes, I have supported children of different ages by ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment through games and structured activities. I also bring informal experience caring for children within my family environment, which has helped me develop patience, confidence and a strong sense of responsibility. Creative and active by nature, I enjoy keeping children engaged through fun and educational activities, as well as outdoor play and walks when possible, and I am also comfortable helping with basic meals. Friendly, patient and reliable, I always aim to create a safe and positive environment where children feel happy and supported. Having been living in Ireland for the past 9 months, I am confident communicating in English in everyday situations and working comfortably in an English-speaking environment, and I would be delighted to support families by providing trustworthy childcare.
