I am a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic childminder with a strong background in social care and a genuine passion for working with children. I hold a Level 8 Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment. I have previous experience working as a Social Care Worker and Social Care Leader, where I supported children in their daily routines, emotional development, and overall wellbeing. I also gained valuable international experience working in Spain as an English Teacher and Camp Counsellor with Grupos Organizados, supporting children in group settings and helping to create fun, engaging, and structured activities. I am experienced in play-based learning, homework support, mealtimes, and personal care, always encouraging independence while ensuring children feel safe, supported, and valued. I have completed a range of relevant training including First Aid, Children First (Tusla), Child Protection, and Food Safety (HACCP), ensuring I provide a high standard of care and safety at all times. I am patient, reliable, and approachable, and I pride myself on building positive relationships with both children and their families. My goal is to create a warm, fun, and trusting environment where children feel happy, secure, and confident.
