Dear Host Family, My name is Gabin, I am a French student currently studying Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) in La Rochelle, and I am looking for an au pair position in Ireland for three months, from June to August 2026. I come from Cognac, in the southwest of France, and I have always enjoyed working with children. I have several years of babysitting experience, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and a natural ability to connect with kids of all ages. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s helping with homework, organizing creative activities, or simply making them laugh. I would describe myself as reliable, caring, and open-minded. I am serious when it comes to responsibilities, but I also have a good sense of humor and love creating a fun and positive atmosphere. I believe these qualities are essential for building trust with both children and parents. I am also very active and sporty. I practice ultimate frisbee at a competitive level and had the opportunity to participate in the World Championship in Birmingham in 2024. Through sport, I have developed teamwork, discipline, and adaptability—qualities I bring into everyday life. Outside of sports, I am passionate about music and creativity. I play the piano, compose my own pieces, and enjoy making videos with my drone. I also love traveling and discovering new cultures, which is one of the reasons I am excited about the opportunity to live with an Irish family. As an au pair, I would be happy to help with childcare, daily routines, light household tasks, and to contribute positively to your family life.
