I am an experienced and caring childminder with several years of experience looking after children of different ages, from babies as young as 8 months up to teenagers. I started working as an au pair in Ireland in 2021, where I had the opportunity to live with different families and gain very solid hands-on experience in childcare. I have cared for both babies and groups of children at the same time, supporting daily routines, preparing meals, organizing activities, games, and helping with schoolwork. I also drove children to and from school and extracurricular activities, and supported them with their daily needs and routines. I consider myself a responsible, patient, and caring person. I practice active listening with children, helping them express their feelings and feel understood, always creating a safe and trusting environment. I really enjoy organizing creative activities such as arts and crafts, painting, and games that encourage imagination and self-expression. I also enjoy cooking and prepared meals and snacks for the children as part of my daily responsibilities. I have my own car, so I can easily travel, pick up children, or take them to activities. I live in the Terenure area and am flexible to care for children either in their home or mine. I speak both Spanish and English fluently. I currently work in an office role during the week, with working hours from 7:00 to 3:00 or 3:30, depending on the day, but I am looking to dedicate my free time to childcare, which is something I genuinely enjoy and feel very comfortable with.
