Hi, my name is Doris and I am a caring, reliable and creative childminder currently based in Castleknock. I enjoy working with children and creating a calm, safe and positive environment where they can feel comfortable and happy. I have experience working with children through creative workshops and care roles, including children with additional needs. I am patient and attentive, and I always focus on children’s wellbeing and emotional needs. I enjoy encouraging creativity through play, art and gentle activities while also respecting the routines and preferences of each family. I understand how important trust is when leaving your child with someone, and I always aim to build a warm, respectful and professional relationship with both children and parents. I love animals and am very comfortable working in homes with pets. I am also happy to help with light household tasks related to childcare, such as light cleaning and simple meal preparation when needed. I am currently planning to relocate to the south side of Dublin or closer to the city centre in the near future and would be happy to discuss longer-term arrangements with families in these areas.
