Hi parents My name is Aisling. I’m an early childhood educator working in a creche for the last 3 years. I have experience working in rooms with babies , toddlers , preschoolers and afterschoolers. I am studying a bachelor level 8 degree in early childhood education in maynooth and am in my third year in the flexible course. I am working 5 days a week in the creche with preschoolers aged 2-5. I have the qqi level 5 certificate in early childhood education and by the end of my third year will have the qqi level 7 then when I graduate i’ll have a level 8. I also have years of experience babysitting with different ages and offer babysitting services in the north kildare area. I have built connections with families and have been with some of them a year / year and a half. Majority of these families have children under 1 so I am comfortable looking after a baby. I love to babysit as well as working in the creche with children because it allows me create interactions with a small group of children or one child and build a bond with them. I enjoy engaging with kids through play and making sure they’re safe. I plan the weekly curriculum for the 22 children in my room each week which includes picking a theme based on their interests. I do sensory activities , art and craft , fine motor and gross motor skill activities. science experiments , game , invitation to play . I love working with children and am passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for your children .I am garda vetted with the college and creche , first aid trained , have the tusla child first certificate, manual handling , haccp and many other courses and can provide references if required from the creche I work in , other babysitting families and my college.
