My name is Gráinne, and I am a 21-year-old final-year college student currently studying Radiography at University College Dublin. I am originally from County Wicklow and now live in Crumlin for college. I am currently completing a five-month clinical placement in the Mater Hospital and Naas General Hospital alongside doing my thesis. I take my studies and professional responsibilities very seriously and I feel I am reliable, organised, and hardworking. I have a genuine love for working with children and have developed extensive experience across a range of settings, including hospitals, special needs schools, and regular babysitting in Wicklow for a family of four children under the age of eight. In addition, I worked for many summers as a tour guide, where I supervised and engaged with pre-school and primary-school children of all ages. As the eldest sister to two younger brothers, caring for younger children has always been a natural part of my life. Outside of my studies, I love baking, reading, music, and going to the gym, and I love finding fun and ways to involve children in these activities where possible! Working with children is a true passion of mine, and I hope to pursue a career in paediatric radiography after graduating. I hold a full driving licence and have a car, so I can travel easily when needed. My availability is flexible on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I am available for evening or night work after 7pm from Monday to Thursday. Ideally, I am seeking casual work for a family as required, working up to 10 hours a week.
