I am a dedicated childminder with nearly 15 years of experience working with children of all ages, from babies to teenagers. I have a warm, creative approach, offering a safe, positive, and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and express themselves. Creativity is an important part of my life and my work. I am an artist and regularly take part in Dublin Sketchers meetings on Sundays. I also play guitar and sing, and I love to bring music and art into my time with children. On top of that I’m happy to prepare healthy meals and involving children in simple, fun kitchen activities. Originally from Lapland in Finland, I lived in London from 2015 to 2017 and have been based in Ireland since August 2023. I hold an international Bachelor of Business Administration degree, which has given me valuable skills in communication, organization, and working with diverse cultures and families. Alongside my childcare work, I am the chairperson of the Irish-Finnish Society, where I support cultural projects, bring communities together, and help promote Finnish culture here in Ireland. My multicultural background helps me connect easily with different communities and introduce children to new ideas, stories, and creative experiences. I believe in nurturing imagination, curiosity, and confidence, while supporting each child’s individual personality.
