About Me
Hi! My name is Yolanda, and I’m a 28-year-old early childhood educator from Spain. I have degrees in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, as well as three years of experience working in a creche here in Limerick. I’m excited to be opening a small, home-based childminding service in Nessan Way, Mungret, with places expected to be available from January 2027. I will be caring for children aged 6 months to 2 years, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. My aim is to provide a warm, safe and happy home environment where little ones can play, learn and grow at their own pace. I believe in offering lots of individual attention, gentle routines and fun, play-based activities that support each child’s development. First Aid Experience
I completed a first aid course in summer 2026.
Special Needs Experience
Additionally, in Spain, I have given private lessons to children with various disabilities.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have experience with babies. For one year, I worked as an au pair in London, caring for a 12-month-old child. I also completed a substitute teaching position in a preschool working with 2-year-old children. Currently, I work in the toddler room at Tigers Childcare in Limerick, caring for children aged 18 months to 2 years. This experience has given me a strong understanding of young children’s routines, development, communication and individual needs.
