I have clear State Police background checks in the U.S. states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Tennessee (all the states I have worked in). I have a minor degree from the University of Tennessee in Child and Family Studies. I have over 30 hours of Continuing Education Units focused on Child Development, Disability Inclusion, and Crisis Management.
I have gotten certified and re-certified in Pediatric and Adult First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross multiple times over the past ten years. I am also certified in ACS Stop The Bleed emergency preparedness.
My Bachelor's degree is in Audiology and Speech Pathology with a special focus on pediatrics. I served as a counselor at Camp Koinonia in Tennessee, a camp for children aged 7-21 years old who have multiple disabilities. The campers in my group had disabilities including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, gene deletions, seizure disorders, blindness, hearing loss, and Emotional Disturbances. I am a certified Speech and Language Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. I served over 200 students during the 2024-2025 school year at two schools in Manchester, New Hampshire. These children ranged from 5-18 years old and had disabilities like Dyslexia, Autism, Emotional Disturbances, hearing loss, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, and voice disorders. I am passionate about working with children with disabilities and plan to pursue my Master's Degree in the future to ensure I can make a difference in the field. In addition to babysitting infants, I have two years of experience working in the infant and toddler rooms of Applewood Learning Center in New Hampshire (USA).
