About Me

Hi! My name is Ciára, I’m 24 years old and currently studying to become a primary school teacher at Marino Institute of Education. I have a strong background in working with children through my school placements, years of babysitting for family and extended family, and extensive experience subbing in various primary schools. I’ve also coached at children’s sports summer camps and worked with children aged 3 to 12. I’ve worked with children with special needs through both school placements and inclusive summer programmes in 2025. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child. In addition, I play Irish traditional music and have over 10 years of experience in Irish dancing, having competed in An Chomhdháil Irish dancing competitions.
