Hi, I’m Zoë, a creative and caring childminder based in Galway. I’ve been working with children for over seven years, both in Ireland and abroad. I spent five years living in Spain, where I worked as a teacher with children aged 1 to 8. Since returning home last September, I’ve been working as a childminder in Galway, supporting families with children of all ages. I have a degree in Contemporary Art, and I love bringing creativity and imagination into my work with children — whether it’s through arts and crafts, nature walks, or playful storytelling. I also have experience as an au pair in Canada and Spain, and I’ve worked in both busy households and more relaxed home environments. I take a calm, thoughtful approach to childcare, and believe in creating a space where children feel safe, heard, and free to be themselves. I’m confident with routines like bottle feeding, nap schedules, school runs, and meal prep, and I tailor my care to fit each family’s needs and values.
