Nursing skills obtained from college First aid training (my certificate is expired however i am still certified to administer first aid and epi pen & insulin pens with my nursing experience ) Bls training along with other mandatory nursing first aid practices such as hygiene, infection prevention control.
I have worked in the mental health sector as part of my degree exposing me to individuals with intellectual disabilities along with ASD and other behavioural challenges. I am also certified in moving and handling of individuals with physical restrictions (provided equipment is available where/if needed) my main experience in this category is with assistance in mobility and transferring process (ie. In / out of wheelchairs and walking aids, walking and (re)gaining of strength) Aswell as this my time working with the scouts exposed me to many children with behavioural and intellectual needs.
