About Me: I have a degree in secondary education and in psychology, and I am currently studying counselling and psychotherapy. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of child development, behaviour management, and creating a nurturing environment that supports a child’s growth and wellbeing. Although I have not previously worked as a full time childminder or nanny I do have a range of experience in caring for children from newborns to adolescents. About the role I’m looking lor: Since I study part-time (Tuesday 06.15 p.m. to 09.30 p.m.), I am ideally seeking a role for four days a week (approximately 30 hours) during term time, from mid-September until April or May. Outside of term time, I am available for additional hours. I live in Dun Laoghaire in an apartment I own with my husband. I do not currently drive, so I would need the role to be within commuting distance by public transport or walking.
