About Me

About Me: I have a degrees in secondary education, psychology, and I am currently studying counselling and psychotherapy. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of child development and behaviour management. Although I have not previously worked as a full time childminder or nanny I do have a range of experience in caring for children from newborns to adolescents. About the role I’m looking lor: I am ideally seeking a four day role (approximately 30 hours) but I am open to less hours / days. I would prefer to work week days only but am open to the occasional weekend day(s). During term time, from mid-September until April/May I have classes on Tuesday 06.15 p.m. to 09.30 p.m. in Dublin 2 so I am unavailable then. I also have 9 weekends during the academic year in which I have class on Friday evening from 06.30 p.m. to 09.30 p.m. and Saturday 09.00 a.m. to 02.30 p.m. I live in Dun Laoghaire in an apartment I own with my husband and I am happy to mind children here or im your own home. I do not currently drive, so I would need the role to be within commuting distance by public transport or walking.
