I have experience with special needs children. I was an occasional babysitter for a nonverbal autistic 4-year-old, and it was a smooth experience—I took her to the park, fed her, played with her, and helped with cleaning. I also took care of an 8-year-old girl with mild autism for almost a year on weekends. That was also an easygoing experience, as we did regular activities together.
I have four younger sisters and have always helped my mom at home, gaining a lot of experience with children from an early age. In my first job here, in a house with four kids, one of them was a baby, and I helped with various tasks such as changing diapers, tummy time, putting the baby to sleep, and waking up.
