Hello! My name is Katelyn, and I’m so excited about the opportunity to live with you and learn about your culture. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about who I am and what I enjoy. I am currently studying biology with a minor in psychology at university. I’ve always been fascinated by the sciences, especially how they intersect with helping people. My goal is to attend graduate school to become a pharmacist and work in my community. Alongside my studies, I work as a pharmacy technician, which has been a rewarding way to gain hands-on experience in the field. In my free time, I enjoy staying active and creative. I love reading and writing, especially essays and research papers on topics that challenge the way we think about the world. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring nature, or simply relaxing outside with a good book. I have an interest in learning about other cultures, which is one of the reasons I’m so excited about this experience. Additionally, I love to travel and have studied abroad on two different occasions. In high school I went to Paris for a month to attend french language school. In University I spent my first year abroad in Cork, Ireland and University College Cork. I look forward to getting to know you, sharing stories, and hopefully creating wonderful memories together.
