About Me

Dear family, My name is Frida Sofia but I like to be call Sofia. I am 19 years old, I was born in Mexico City but my mother is from Spain, so I have multiple cultural backgrounds, as well as double nationality. I am the youngest of 4 siblings; I have one brother and two sisters. My dad is a lawyer and my mom studied law but decided to be a full time mom, and have always made sure me and my siblings have the best preparation. I admire them for that and consider myself very blessed to have such a loving family. I have always liked sports.I love dancing and singing, also I love animals, especially dogs. In my free time I like going to the gym, and listening to music. Being the youngest of four, I have learned a lot. Thanks to my family's example I have learned that in order to achive your goals you need to be a commited person. I believe that hardwork and determination is what leads you to success. This is why family is one of the things I treasure the most. I am an easy going girl, I make friends easily and always love a good laugh. I think of myself as a creative person who likes to find different and good solutions for everyday tasks. I am responsible and take my studies and activities very seriously and believe that I can learn from everything. To me is clear that life is full of opportunities and it is important to make the most out of the situation in order to grow and make a better world. All though I have never formally worked, I have always managed to raise money by teaching tutoring leasons for my classmates and their sibilings. I love children and to spend time with them. As my dad is the oldest of his family, my cousins are way younger than me and I enjoy spending time with them. I consider myself a pacient person and think that my creativity and resorfullness helps me to think of ways to take care of them in a fun but safe way. My experience abroad has been quite good, even though as I am young it isn´t as wide as I would like. I travelled when I was 15, all through Spain and it was quite a journey. There I learned a great deal of important leasons for life; I learned to value different cultures and history, I love to observe and learn form different points of view. Travelling gives you the opportunity to develop independence and to widen your understanding of the world. After that trip it's clear to me how important it is to value time, money and effort. I would like the opportunity to share my time and habillities with a family that values hard work and determination. I think it can be beneficial to me and them in multiple ways.
