Babysitting Profile Description Hi there! My name is Mia-Poppy, and I’m a 22-year-old college student currently studying Architectural Technology at MTU Cork and I am in my second year. I’ll be back in my hometown of Carlow for five weeks over Christmas, and I’m excited to offer babysitting services during this time. I have valuable experience working with children, including those with special needs. My first cousin has Down syndrome, and I’ve spent time caring for him and babysitting him, which has given me patience, understanding, and a compassionate approach to caregiving. In addition, I was a Cinnire with Coláiste na bhFiann in 2019, where I worked with children aged 8–12 during a two-week Irish summer college. My role involved teaching songs, organizing games and activities, and providing 24/7 care for the kids—all through Irish! This experience taught me responsibility, creativity, and how to make learning fun. I had wished to continue with this in the summer of 2020 but unfortunately due to the pandemic this was not possible. I’m dependable, enthusiastic, and great with kids of all ages.
